- Cheese(as required)
- 1/2 onion (small)sliced
- Mushrooms(as required)
- Basil leaves handful
- 1 tsp Dried oregano
- 1 green pepper sliced
- Olive oil
- Pizza sauce (as required)
Steps to make to make Pizza
- To make the dough, in a bowl add in the flour,yeast,sugar,salt and mix.Make a well in the center and add the milk,oil and mix well,then add warm water and mix until all ingredients are combined.
- Grease work surface with oil add little water and knead dough well until soft and smooth.Then grease bowl with little oil and coat the dough with the oil,cover and allow to rise for 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
- Meanwhile prepare your filling,marinate your chicken cubes by adding the following spices 1/4 tsps each,salt,chilli powder,cumin,corriander,garam masala,turmeric,garlic,black pepper,ginger,1/2 a lemon and olive oil to the chicken, mix well and cover put in the fridge to marinate for 15 to 30 mins.
- In a pan add a little oil and saute the chicken cubes,add some seasoning if needed then add some water and allow to simmer under low heat till tender and the water has dried,set aside to cool.
- Slice the onion, mushrooms,and green pepper.grate your cheese and set aside.Prepare your dough,grease your pizza tray then deflate the dough and spread the dough in the pizza tray with the help of your fingers,and using your fingers form the crust.Use a fork to prick the middle of the dough.
- Lightly brush the dough with olive oil then spread with the pizza sauce.Sprinkle the cheese all over the dough then spread the mushrooms and chicken cubes on top then top with the onion,green pepper and basil leaves.
- Top with more cheese and bake in a preheated oven for about 20 to 25 mins or until golden.
- Allow to Cool for few mins slice and serve warm,enjoy!You can make two medium pizzas with this dough or one giant pizza.
